Giridas Divakaran ACA, CISA, CIA, CFE is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (India), Institute of Internal Auditors (US), Institute of Information System Auditors (US) and Certified Fraud Examiners (US). Giridas holds extensive professional experience over 26 years in various fields across the Middle East and India, held Board and Senior positions with Banks and Corporates in the region. At SPK, Giridas is responsible to develop and enhance Corporate Governance, Statutory Audit, Quality Assurance, Risk and Compliance practices. He possesses significant experience in managing audit assignments in accordance with IFRS, USGAAP and other standards across various industries including Retail, Trading, Construction, Manufacturing, Hospitality, Hospitals and Financial Institutions.

Giridas has a proven track record in financial and operational reengineering of loss-making and underperforming organizations and transforming them into a profit-making mode to market leaders.

His employers include First Gulf Bank, Cyrus Group, AGN MAK Auditors etc. and held key titles like Chairman of an Investment Fund, Executive Director, Board member, General Manager, Group CFO and CEO. He has functional expertise in Merchant Banking, M&A transactions, Private Equity, Corporate Banking, Real Estate investments, Corporate Advisory and Business Re-engineering.
