Shustak Reynolds Obtains $1.8 Million FINRA Arbitration Award For Two Former USAA Wealth Advisors Who Were Unfairly Terminated and Defamed

We are pleased to announce that partners Jonah Toleno and George Miller, and senior attorney Kate Bowles recently prevailed in a FINRA arbitration in Texas which resulted in an award totaling $1.8 million on behalf of two financial advisor clients, unfairly terminated from USAA Financial Advisors, Inc. in May 2017. Meet the Newest Member of Our Legal Team: Joseph Mellano

We are pleased to announce that Joseph Mellano has joined our firm as an associate in our San Diego office. Joe is a graduate of Brown University, where he was a four year NCAA Division 1 letterman in baseball, and the University of San Diego School of Law in 2015 with certificates of concentration in both business and corporate law, and criminal litigation. During his time at USD, Mr. Mellano received numerous scholarships and awards for his leadership and academic achievement, including the 2014 Alec Cory Endowed Scholarship and a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Corporations. [read more…]
