Wong Fleming is proud to announce Sharil A. Clarke is now an Associate in its Princeton, NJ office. Ms. Clarke is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York. She is an accomplished litigator, having represented mostly financial institutions in all aspects of loan restructuring, collection, and litigation. She is a Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Specialist, and holds a professional certification in the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Previously, Ms. Clarke was Vice President and Senior Counsel for Santander Bank, N.A.
Ms. Clarke earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Rutgers University, a Master of Arts in International Relations and Affairs from Syracuse University, and her Juris Doctorate from Syracuse College of Law. She is a former Administrative Law Judge for the City of New York and a former trial attorney for the Office of the United States Trustee in New York City.
At Wong Fleming, Ms. Clarke will be concentrating her practice in the areas of commercial litigation, creditors’ rights, bankruptcy, and banking compliance. She will also be spearheading the firm’s Bank Compliance Practice Group.
When she is not working, Ms. Clarke enjoys gardening and playing tennis. She also serves as a trustee for the Martin Luther King Jr. Foundation in Somerset, NJ.
