The evening drinks reception will be hosted in the exclusive Garden Walk area of the Marina Bay Sands Hotel with stunning views overlooking the city. The reception will include drinks and canapés and offer attendees time to meet in a relaxed social setting prior to the main conference day.
Thursday 11 May 2017
Presentations and networking day within the hotel’s meeting rooms. Attendees will hear from the IR management team, local business leaders about opportunities in the area and professional speakers on firm management / business development issues.
Evening meal outside of the hotel. As usual we will choose a memorable venue providing attendees with a wonderful experience of the city by night and further opportunities to network.

Break out meetings during the AM where multiple meeting spaces will be available for the practice area and special interest groups. Your meeting participation will be coordinated to ensure you have maximum time for networking and connect with the firms most relevant to your own.

We look forward to returning to Asia and welcoming you in the fantastic city of Singapore in May 2017. This meeting is part of our ‘On the Road’ series which follows successful events in San Francisco, Brussels, Miami, Dubai and Shanghai. We feel this is an exciting opportunity for members to learn about interesting trends coming out of one of the world’s leading financial centres. Furthermore there will be a strong emphasis on inbound and outbound opportunities throughout the whole of Asia and will therefore be a must attend event for any member with clients or indeed anyone who wishes to develop business in the region.
As usual tickets are limited, as the ‘On the Road’ events really focus on relationship development and providing quality time for attendees to connect and learn about each others practices. Please therefore be sure to confirm your interest and ticket ASAP to avoid being disappointed (all IR events have now been sold out for the last 3 years). In addition, the mid year event has a much greater focus on the social program than the annual conference and some of the activities included are; an outdoor opening drinks reception with tremendous views of the city, networking dinner at the one of the finest restaurants, a day excursion (TBA) and plenty of time for members to meet for private dinners before and after the conference.
Typically such events have members from around 40 plus jurisdictions.
