Warren appointed Chairman of Julia’s House!

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Managing Director, Warren Munson, as Chairman of Julia’s House, the Dorset and Wiltshire children’s hospices.

Having supported Julia’s House since its formation in 2006, Warren joined the charity’s Board of Trustees in 2015, going on to become Vice Chairman in 2016. With only 6% government funding, Julia’s House has to constantly seek innovation in income generation. Warren brings with him much-needed expert advice and entrepreneurial thinking that will ensure the charity continues to prosper.

Warren says, “I have personally seen the incredible impact the charity has made in supporting children and their families. The achievements of the charity are remarkable and therefore it is with great honour that I accepted the role of Chairman. I’m really looking forward to working with Martin and all at Julia’s House to ensure the continued success and evolution of the charity.”

Chief Executive of Julia’s House Hospice, Martin Edwards, says: “Inspire and Julia’s House have grown at similar rates over the last decade, expanding their services and supporting many more clients and children respectively. This common experience of challenges and opportunities means that Warren has great insight into where we’ve come from and how we can best meet the challenges ahead.”

Warren succeeds Lisa Hanger, who retired from the Board last week after serving two full terms of three years each.
