The United States will reopen borders to travelers fully vaccinated on November 8th

On Friday (15), was announced that as of November 8th the United States will suspend the restrictions to fully vaccinated international travelers, by air and land borders. The announcement was confirmed by White House and the U.S. Department of State.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is working along with other government agencies to develop requirements and guidance documents for the implementation of this new travel policy, to be announced prior to November 8th.

The COVID-19 vaccines that must be accepted are those authorized by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and vaccines that have been approved for emergency use by WHO (which include Coronavac and AstraZeneca).

The Department of State will provide more information through Travel.State.gov as it becomes available.
