Shearman & Sterling Advises on $4 Billion IPO

Shearman & Sterling represented CIMB, Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley as Joint Global Coordinators in connection with Petronas Chemicals Group Berhad’s approximately US$4.0 billion Rule144A/Regulation S initial public offering and listing on Bursa Malaysia, the largest IPO ever in Southeast Asia. Petronas Chemicals Group Berhad, a leading integrated petrochemicals producer, is primarily focused on manufacturing, marketing and selling a diversified range of petrochemical products, including olefins, polymers, fertilizers, methanol and other basic chemicals and derivative products.
