Again, many heartfelt thanks for your overwhelming support that you have been showing us during these difficult times.
As you already know, last month on Aug 4th, the Beirut blast devastated a large area, over 9 kilometers in radius, damaging many small businesses & caused an estimated 15B US$ in losses. Many freelancers, entrepreneurs, SME businesses from retail shops to artisans, technicians & professional services firms, art hubs and galleries, among others… have been severely affected.
The SBRF aims to assist this vital business community to help them rebuild & get back on their feet to regain their financial security & support themselves & their families.
This Fund is in partnership between Association Maak & two Lebanese Certified Public Accountant firms (‘LACPA’) – Serhal Nassar & Co. (LACPA no. 69/2008) & Abousleiman & Co. (LACPA no. 58/2005) who will both be providing free of charge advisory services to those affected.
We hope we can rely on your support to achieve the goals of this modest initiative.
Of course, if any of you also know any Lebanese restaurants in your areas, we would be happy to link them with small time agri-producers to help them also improve their circumstances.
