Rosenberg & Estis, P.C. is pleased to announce that Stacey A. Lara has joined as Of Counsel in the firm’s Litigation Department.
Stacey is a seasoned attorney with extensive experience handling mortgage foreclosure and sophisticated commercial litigation.
Ms. Lara has represented financial institutions, residential mortgage lenders, loan servicers and trusts in state and federal court actions, arbitrations, mediations and appeals arising out of commercial and residential real estate mortgage loans, and litigate claims brought under the New York Deceptive Practices Act, the Truth in Lending Act, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Home Owners Equity Protection Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act and the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, as well as allegations of fraud, negligence, and predatory lending.
Prior to joining Rosenberg & Estis, Stacey was an associate with Hogan Lovells LLP. She graduates cum laude from New York University and received a Juris Doctor degree from St. John’s University School of Law.
