Polish National Court Register newsletter launched

On 21 June 2022 the Newsletter of the Polish National Court Register (KRS) began its operations which are based on the introduction of an automatic notification service about a registration of a case in registration proceedings and making an entry in the National Court Register (KRS). The above is done by e-mail in the form of a newsletter.

National Court Register (KRS) is a public register maintained by district courts that consists of (i) a register of entrepreneurs, (ii) a register of associations, other social and professional organizations, foundations and independent public health care institutions, and (iii) a register of insolvent debtors.

Activation of the newsletter service is possible for users of the Court Register Portal (available at www.prs.ms.gov.pl) after logging in to their account. The selection of entities to which the subscription is to apply is possible by indicating the KRS number or using the KRS search browser. The user will automatically receive information on the monitored entities at the e-mail address indicated while registering an account on the Court Registers Portal in the scope of:

  • registration of a case upon an application;
  • registration of a case ex officio;
  • making an entry in the register.

The information contained in the notification includes basic information – date of submission or date and number of entry and case reference. For detailed verification of the subject of an application, it is necessary to consult the register files.

One user can order a maximum of 50 subscriptions. It is possible to define the duration of each subscription, with a maximum duration of one year with the possibility of extension or cancellation.
