Chris Goodrich, a Houston, Texas IR Global member, recently gave well-received 20-30 minute presentations to the virtual meetings of both the U.S. East Coast and U.S. Central regions. The presentation reviewed the definition of value in different legal contexts as well as U.S. professional standards existing for business, real estate and other property appraisals and appraisers. Chris noted that these definitions and standards can arise in a variety of tax and non-tax circumstances, such as leases, business succession planning, sales of businesses, charitable giving, commercial agreements and corporate governance.
Chris plans on attending the IR Global conference in London this year and looks forward to renewing relations with tenured IR members and meeting new IR Global members.
