Kirkland & Ellis International LLP advised Change Capital Partners LLP on the acquisition of a 75-percent interest in Schneekoppe Lifestyle GmbH. Schneekoppe Lifestyle GmbH, headquartered in Buchholz, Germany, is the owner of Schneekoppe GmbH & Co. KG, a leading producer of healthy nutrition (muesli and fruit bars, e.g.) and organic food. Twenty-five percent of the interest in Schneekoppe Lifestyle GmbH remains with the former majority owner, Gerald Wagener, who also continues to be the managing director. The acquisition is effective as of February 16, 2011. The value of the transaction is confidential.
