The Compulsory Quarantine of Certain Persons Arriving at Hong Kong Regulation (Cap. 599C) (the “Regulations”) was introduced by the HKSAR Government on 08 February 2020. The Regulations applied to persons arriving at Hong Kong from a place in China other than Hong Kong. Pursuant to the Regulations and subject to any exceptions, any person or persons arriving at Hong Kong from a place in China other than Hong Kong must be placed in quarantine for a period of 14 days from the date of their arrival (the “Compulsory Quarantine Arrangements”).
