The Senior Minister in the Office of the President Honourable Dr. Ashni Singh, presented the 2023
Budget on 16 January 2023. This is the fourth budget presented by the current PPP / Civic administration led by H.E. Dr. Irfan Ali. Budget 2023 was presented under theme “Improving
Lives Today, Building Prosperity for Tomorrow”. It projects total expenditure of G$782 billion (US$3.75 billion) while total revenue is estimated at G$690 billion (US$3.31 billion). The budget deficit for 2023 is estimated at G$92 billion (US$441 million).
