EXPRESS ENTRY #211 – 698 CRS POINTS – PROVINCIAL NOMINEE PROGRAM ONLY

Express Entry - Latest CRS score

Today, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held its seventh consecutive Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw. The 24th PNP draw of 2021, issued 1,032 invitations to apply (ITAs) to candidates with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 698. The CRS score decreased by 39 points compared to the previous PNP draw held on November 24th, 2021.

The PNP is aligned with the federal Express Entry system. Candidates that receive a provincial nomination automatically obtain an additional 600 CRS points. The program is designed for workers who have the skills, education and work experience to contribute to the economy of a specific province or territory. Each province and territory have their own “streams” which vary depending on the province’s needs.

Today’s draw is the largest PNP-specific draw ever and brought the total ITAs in 2021 to 133,868, passing last year’s record-breaking year of 107,350 candidates invited.

IRCC applied its tie-breaking rule with the timestamp of September 10, 2021, at 16:43:17 UTC. This means that candidates who had the minimum score of 698 are only invited if they submitted their Express Entry profile before the tie-breaking rule.
