Beginning the year 2016 the stewardship of the Firm is transferred to Alejandro Alfonso E. Navarro as Managing Partner and Augusto A. San Pedro Jr. as Co-Managing Partner, with F. Arthur Villaraza as Chairman and CEO. • Assisted a foreign entity in preparing a bid on the shares of a listed mining and manufacturing company, including the conduct of legal due diligence on such listed company.
• Assisted in the conduct of a legal due diligence and negotiation of the terms of merger of two oil companies.
• Advised a Singapore‐listed company in connection with its acquisition of shares in a Philippine company providing airport services.
• Acted as counsel to a foreign stock exchange in connection with its investments in the Philippines.
• Supervised and handled legal due diligence of two leading Philippine telecommunications companies; a Philippine corporation which has several oil refineries; conglomerate of bakery goods and foods.
