Altij is a multidisciplinary law firm specializing in business law and new technologies. Founded in 2002 and headquartered in Toulouse, centre of the European aerospace industry and one of the continent’s leading technology centres, Altij is today one of the leading firms in the South of France. Our lawyers work with clients of all sizes, from tech start-ups to multinational groups, providing expert advice on all aspects of doing business in France.
Widely recognised as a market leader in data protection, at Altij we see GDPR compliance as a key factor for differentiating our clients’ business. We also have a keen understanding of the specific challenges of data protection in an international context and the legal risks associated with data transfers both within groups and to external partners.
In addition to our market-leading tech practice, we have an outstanding corporate team which specialises in assisting foreign companies wishing to invest in France, providing a full range of advice on French corporate structures, due diligence on French target businesses and drafting of all appropriate documentation (share and asset purchase agreements, shareholders’ agreements, articles of association, etc.). We also have a strong insolvency practice, helping international investors though the complex process of acquiring businesses in judicial insolvency procedures in France, preparing and drafting offer documents and representing our clients before the courts.
One of the key strengths of our firm is the ability of our different departments to work together to provide a joined-up service to our clients. Whether in commercial litigation, labour and employment law, intellectual property, contracts or real estate and construction, we have experts who are able to provide you with specialised advice to find the right strategic approach for your business.
