Michael R. Nall is the founder of The Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors® (The Alliance) the premier international organization serving the educational, resource and deal-making needs of middle-market M&A professionals. The Alliance is the leading association and credentialing body for 900 middle market M&A professionals in 25 countries, providing connections, best practices and education for leading professionals in the industry.
An experienced corporate financial advisor with a proven track record as a transaction advisor for privately held companies, Mr. Nall is a published author and recognized speaker on the valuation, growth, and sale of middle market companies. Prior to founding The Alliance, Michael assisted with the development of the nation’s largest bookkeeping and tax franchise network of its kind and successfully built and sold his own accounting business. He has assisted in the valuation of more than 2,000 privately held businesses and completed more than 50 business sale transactions.
Managing transactions for middle-market companies with $2 million to $500 million in sales, Michael founded The Alliance targeting the transition needs of the underserved middle-market sector which has been proven to be the most significant sector for new, sustainable jobs in America.With the benefit of over 25 years of experience in the industry, collaborating with other industry experts, The Alliance developed and launched a first-of-its-kind professional training and credential designation for the independent corporate financial advisory community: “Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor” (CM&AA).
A retired CPA, Michael obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Accounting with honors from Eastern Illinois University. He is an active member in the Association of Corporate Growth, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and was recently certified as a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).
