Specialist expertise
Jonathan is a transaction services specialist; his expertise include transactions advisory, including financial due diligence, valuations, vendor due diligence and IPO working capital reviews. He has specialist experience in sectors such as retail as well as hospitality and leisure.
Jonathan heads up the financial due diligence and valuations practice as part of Quantuma’s corporate finance team. He has over 25 years of experience working on deals for private equity houses, sovereign wealth funds, corporates and family offices. He has led buy-side and vendor due diligence projects as well as valuations in the context of mergers and acquisitions.
The deals Jonathan has worked on have ranged in size from small to medium-sized enterprises, up to multi-billion international businesses. Notable deals include the acquisition of Inmarsat, Punch Taverns and PCM. Jonathan also has extensive experience of long-form and working capital reporting for IPOs including O2, SAB and ENRC. He has wide sector experience but with a focus on consumer, retail as well as hospitality and leisure.
Jonathan qualified as a chartered accountant in 1995 and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Prior to joining Quantuma, Jonathan spent 27 years with a big four accountancy firm, starting in audit and then transferring to transaction services upon qualification. He has extensive international experience having lived and worked in Russia, the Czech Republic, Romania and Qatar.
About Jonathan
Outside of work, Jonathan is a fitness enthusiast with a particular interest in running, crossfit, mountain biking and skiing. He lives in Highgate with his wife and young daughter.
