Ignacio was recently included in a list of ‘50 Essential Names for Doing Business in London’ published by Expansion (the leading Spanish newspaper).
As a dual qualified English solicitor and Spanish lawyer (Abogado), Ignacio is responsible for Colman Coyle's Spanish speaking desk; advising UK clients in their dealings with Spain and Latin America, as well as Spanish speaking clients with legal needs in the UK.
He has a wide knowledge of Private International law issues. He specialises in litigation, particularly in cross border litigation cases where there is a foreign element. He is regularly appointed to act as an expert pursuant to Part 35 Civil Procedure Rules.
Currently, he is involved in a substantial professional negligence Group Action, in connection with foreign property.
He qualified as an abogado in 2001 and as an English solicitor in 2005 through the QLTT (Qualified Lawyer Transfer Test).
Ignacio is the co-ordinator of the Malaga Law Society International Division.
