Since its founding in 1950, Nakamoto & Partners has built a strong base in Osaka by providing a wide range of legal services to the regional community. As the legal needs have diversified with globalization and a more complex world, we have instituted a program for providing specialty training, and opened an office in Tokyo in 2008, building an organization that is better equipped to appropriately address a wide range of needs.While our offices may not have the largest staff, we are dedicated to providing legal services equivalent to or better than large-scale law firms in a quick, efficient manner that meets the needs of our clientele.

Areas that we have focused on in our legal services include debt collection; general corporate law, including issues concerning labor, shareholders meetings, M&A, and joint ventures; and large-scale rehabilitation and other areas of bankruptcy law.

More recently, we have branched out over the past several years to provide support for venture companies, including new business launches involving intellectual property licensing, assistance with aircraft lease contracts, and total support for overseas expansion to ASEAN.

Other areas where we have earned favorable reviews from our clients include compliance support for B2C transactions, including consumer contracts and advertising.
