Abenry Advocates legal partnership started in year 2006 as Abenry & Company Advocates. In year 2010 the firm merged with Ringo & Associates to form Adept Chambers. In January 2012, the legal fraternity saw the rebirth of Abenry Advocates.

Henry Sondo is a Senior Associate in the corporate department of the firm. He is involved in conducting discovery and drafting motions and briefs. He is also involved in drafting corporate agreements as well as carrying out due diligence and closing of transactions.

Henry is a graduate and holds an LLB (Hons) from Swansea University, UK, and an LLM (Oil, Gas and Mining Law) from Nottingham Trent University, UK. His main areas of practice are commercial, corporate, and dispute resolution. Henry also specializes in oil and gas, mining transactions with detailed knowledge and understanding of the legal and regulatory framework in Tanzania relating to oil, gas, and mining matters.

Henry is co-author of the Tanzania chapter on Global Legal Insights – ENERGY – 5th and 6th edition.
