He is a senior lawyer at Kapolyi Law Firm who is heading the Corporate M&A practice group and also takes part in the energy practice of the Firm. Joining Kapolyi Law Firm will allow the Firm to continue to serve its clients efficiently and with high quality, representing practical aspects in complex and high-value transactions. His expertise in the energy sector is unique.
He started his professional career at Magyar Távközlési Rt. (currently, Telekom) in 1994. Following the bar exam, he worked as an in-house counsel for Dél-dunántúli Gázszolgáltató Zrt. (now, E.ON Dél-dunántúli Földgázhálózati Zrt.) from 1997 to 2000. Then, he worked as a senior associate at Oppenheim and Partners, respectively, Bán, S. Szabó and Partners from 2000.
He was a senior in-house counsel at E.ON Hungária Zrt. from 2005 to 2009, and then worked in the energy practice group of a global international law firm from 2011 to 2013.
From 2012, he worked 7 years as a senior in-house counsel and then head of legal at the ENGIE (GDF SUEZ) group in Hungary.
Looking for new challenges, he joined Kapolyi Law Firm in October 2019.
Having graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Pécs in 1994, he passed his bar exam in September 1996. He obtained his MBA degree in 1997.
He has been a member of the Budapest Bar Association since September 2000.
He speaks English fluently.
