The “Olevinsky, Buyukyan and Partners» Bureau of Legal Affairs” (before rebranding — “NBZ Group”) was founded in 1993.
A team of lawyers and economists of NBZ Group, having become the core of the “Olevinsky, Buyukyan and Partners” Bureau of Legal Affairs, has been working on the market of legal services for more than twenty-five years. In spring 2016 we celebrated a decade of working under the name of the “Olevinsky, Buyukyan and Partners” Bureau of Legal Affairs. There are over 80 employees in the bureau of legal affairs. The company’s headquarters is located in Moscow, regional offices are in Saint Petersburg and Voronezh.

The Head of the bureau of legal affairs — Edward Olevinsky — has a Candidate Degree in Law Sciences, an author of articles and monographs on insolvency and legal regulation of business activities. He heads the Expert Council of the National Alliance “Russian Union of Self-Regulatory Insolvency Practitioners (RSSOAU)”. Eduard Olevinsky is a member of the Sub-Committee for Crisis Management and Problem Debts of Committee for Business Security of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia.

Since 2008, the bureau of legal affairs has been cooperating with the Russian Centre for Coordination of Legal Assistance Pro Bono, providing free counselling to non-profit organizations. In 2010, the bureau of legal affairs became the first Russian law firm, that received the official status of a “friend of 2010 European Pro Bono Forum”, and every year we confirm the status of a friend of the European Forum. Founder and Head of the Bureau of Legal Affairs
Edward Olevinsky was born in 1969. After high school, he graduated awarded with silver medal, he studied at the law faculty of the High School of Privatization and Entrepreneurship and at the Faculty of Psychology of the Moscow State University (majored in "Human Resource Management").
Edward Olevinsky has academic degrees in two fields and the Candidate Degree in Law Sciences which he was awarded by the Board of Studies of the Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law under the Government of the Russian Federation in 2002. Olevinsky is one among the few insolvency practitioners who received the 3rd (highest) category license, only about 20 such licenses are issued in Russia.
Edward Olevinsky is the founder and the head of the “Olevinsky, Buyukyan and Partners”.
He heads the Expert Council of the National Alliance “Russian Union of Self-Regulatory Insolvency Practitioners (RSSOAU)”. Edward Olevinsky is a member of the Sub-Committee for Crisis Management and Problem Debts of Committee for Business Security of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia.
He is an author of articles and monographs on insolvency and legal regulation of business activities, a permanent commentator of the leading business periodicals, radio stations and TV channels.
This year Edward Olevinsky was once again included in the list of the best Russian lawyers of the Best Lawyers international rating in two nominated categories: “Insolvency and Reorganization Law” (the third year in sequence) and “Litigation”.
