Roberta is a partner and head of IP practice at Mihalics Law Firm. She is a member of the Hungarian Bar Association and an appointed member of the Body of Experts on Industrial Property in Hungary.
She has 16 years of experience in various aspects of IP acquired through her roles at the IP practise of Mihalics Law Firm, Vis Probandi Group IP Enforcement and brand protection agency, the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office, and the National Board Against Counterfeiting.
Roberta is experienced in serving multinational companies as well as SMEs and start-ups and provides support from the identification of IP assets through registration, portfolio management, market monitoring, and enforcement of these rights in civil, customs, criminal and administrative procedures, including mediation and any related contractual and legal aspects of IP exploitation.
She excelled by playing an active role in the transposition of the EU Trademark Directive into Hungarian law and the high quality legal solutions provided by Mihalics Law Firm’s team of lawyers to the satisfaction of clients. In addition, she represented clients in hundreds of IP enforcement raids and seizures and in the related official proceedings including mediation.
Roberta has been personally involved in the awareness raising activities and content development programs of the National Board Against Counterfeiting and in the activities of the Board’s IP Enforcement Working Group since 2014.Show more +
