Dan leads the Marketing team at Herrington Carmichael LLP,  working closely with senior partners and teams to achieve the firms strategic goals and implement the marketing strategy.

Building business development plans with the internal teams to help with future growth and building relationships with external companies to help benefit mutual business opportunities.

Dan has over 15 years experience in professional marketing, working in Financial Services and in Property and Construction Services before tackling law. 

It all began with a graphics / web-design and visual communication degree, before working life started in a marketing team – designing and building websites, digital communications and creating all other types of marketing material across multiple channels, both online and offline.

He’s developed through the years a variety of skills which lends perfectly to the creative, analytical and changing dynamics of modern marketing. “I came into marketing coding emails and building websites, the iphone wasn’t born and social media was a trip to the pub or coffee shop with friends, marketing has moved on a lot, it is far more analytical and with the help of technology you can track its value to a business,” says Dan.

Outside of work Dan is kept busy with his young family. Dan loves his sport, mainly football and cricket. Dan likes to travel and experience the world and all its different cultures.
