Dr Clarence Busuttil, LL.D, Senior Attorney at Busuttil & Millo Advocates, was born in Sliema, Malta in 1959. He graduated from the University of Malta in 1981 with a Doctor of Laws degree and currently resides in St. Julians, Malta.
Dr Busuttil is fluent in four languages, including English, Italian, French, and Maltese, apart from a reasonable understanding of other languages
His professional experience spans in senior partner positions at several Maltese law firms, including Zammit Dimech & Busuttil Advocates and Busuttil & Busuttil Advocates. His areas of specialization include immigration law, international commercial law, intellectual property and corporate law and Dr. Busuttil has lectured at the University of Malta and the Sonnenberg International Institute (Germany), served as Chairman of the Legal commission of the Malta Olympic Committee and represented Malta as the Malta Official Delegate on the Supervisory Board of EU Chamber of Commerce in Beijing, China. He also chaired the Appeals Board on Enforcement decisions within the Malta Tourism Authority.
As of early 2020 Dr. Busuttil, Authorized Registered Mandatory (ARM, IIP #154), and his team of associates have processed over 200 Malta immigration by investment applications which makes him one of the most experienced immigration attorneys in Malta. He is also a director and senior attorney at Zenturo Limited.
Dr Busuttil is an expert in International Immigration Law, Intellectual Property and Company Law and is currently Head of Department of International Commercial Law at his current Law Firm. He has offered European Immigration solutions to many overseas clients over the last few years and has resided in China for four years where he started to become acquainted with Chinese and South East Asian culture.
Dr Busuttil has served as Chairman and Director in a number of local companies involved in property development, real estate, project management, turnkey contracts, etc.
He is a member of Malta Chamber of Advocates, Malta Chamber of Commerce, Malta Maritime Law Commission, and the International Trademark Association (INTA) He has been a Consultant for over 20 years to the Board of Directors of Malta’s Leading Bank (1987-2008),
