Alexandre Roy graduated in Law from the Catholic University of Leuven in 2001, and obtained a Master's Degree in Finance from Vlerick school in 2003.
Before his admission to the Bar, Alexandre Roy has been working as a management consultant in the banking and financial sector for a period of five years.
Admitted to the bar in 2008, Alexandre Roy has done his traineeship with the Corporate & Finance department of the lawyer’s office Liedekerke and with the legal department of business law of the lawyer’s office Wantiez, Bailleux, Causin & Janssen. He joined Everest Law as a Senior Associate in 2011. He has been Associate Partner at Everest since January 1, 2013.
Alexandre Roy primarily advises small and medium-sized enterprises (Belgian and foreign), as well as their shareholders and managers. He applies his financial and legal expertise mainly in mergers and acquisition activities. He also gives legal advice with respect to company restructuring and practises judicial reorganization on a daily basis. Moreover, Alexandre Roy also regularly treats matters related to shareholders’ disputes.
